The Hogansburg-Akwesasne Volunteer Fire Department along with the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe donated a 1986 Pierce Fire Truck to the Bombay Volunteer Fire Department. The truck was donated in the spring of 2010 to the HAVFD and SRMT through Indian Health Services Operation TransAm, a program that donates surplus government equipment to Indian Tribes.
