The Akwesasne Wild Co-ed Hockey team took the Championship in the Droppin’ the Gloves on Cancer Tournament held at Clarkson this past weekend. The Wild was put together by the efforts of Denise Thompson, Diane Lazore and Leighann McDonald. With players from Akwesasne and a couple from Kahnawake and Cornwall they threw a team together looking to have fun for a good cause and surprisingly went undefeated in the tournament.
