    On July 19th 2009 a group of kids got together for the 2nd Annual Gray’s Power Wheels Invitational. The event was hosted by Margaret Jacobs and Norman Gray at their residence on Cook Road in Akwesasne. Racers had “sponsors” (parents and grandparents) to cheer them on for the three lap race.   • Students take field trip to Sugar Shack

    On Monday, April 14, children from the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe’s Early Childhood Development Program were treated to a field trip to the Sugar Shack located in Hogansburg. Classes each took a turn traveling by bus to learn about maple syrup, where it comes from and how it’s made.     In Celebration of the Week of the Young Child, April 14 – 18, the Early Childhood Development Program is hosting an Art Show at the St. Lawrence Center Mall. All children from infants up to Head Start have worked very hard on projects to display.   • Cornwall Civic hosts Bridal Show

    On Sunday, Feb. 17, the Cornwall Civic Complex became filled with brides and their families who were planning a wedding for a bridal show. Each person was given a goodie bag upon arrival which included magazines, candy samplers, and gift certificates. Wide arrays of services were offered to brides from Cornwall and the surrounding areas. There were vendors from Cornwall, Akwesasne, Ottawa and Montreal.
