The 2011 Canadian National Championship Games were held August 1-6, 2011 in Whitby, Ontario. After placing second over all in round robin play the Iroquois Midget team played British Columbia (3rd place) Friday morning (August 5) to see who would move onto the “A” Gold Championship game. The Seaway Valley Rapids Peewee ‘A’ hockey team went to Niagara Falls on March 7-9 for the Gene Harrington Falls Classic Tournament. They are the Champions. The Rapids’ won their first game 13-1 against the Bethlehem Eagles. During the 2nd game vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Jr. Knights the score was 5-1 for the Rapids.
