The Salmon River Shamrocks started off the 1st quarter of the match slowly, but as the 1st quarter went on, the Shamrocks started picked up the pace but the Lady Red Raiders reacted quickly and kept the game close. This is the first match-up between Salmon River and Potsdam since Salmon River edged Potsdam 1-0 to take the Section 10 Class “B” Championship last season. Fort Covington - It was a special night for the Salmon River Shamrocks’ Girls Basketball Team. Junior Abby Kelly broke the SRC All-Time Points Record that was previously set at 1140 points. Kelly started off the 2012-13 season with 828 points. In the first game against Colton-Pierrepont she tallied a team-high 25 points. She went on to contribute 15 points in a loss against Canton.
