The University at Albany Great Danes, led by the Thompson trio, made it two rounds into the 2014 NCAA lacrosse playoffs. After defeating top-seeded Loyola on May 10, they were eliminated by the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Saturday, May 17. The Massena boys and girls track contingents each fell to the Gouverneur Wildcats on Tuesday, April 29 but both beat the Salmon River Shamrocks on Thursday, May 1.
