    Hundreds of people attended the New York Power Authority's Sept. 26 Wildlife Festival in Massena. The event brought reptiles, birds of prey, insects, a petting zoo and other varieties of animals to the Hawkins Point Visitors center. NYPA hosts the event annually. For the first time in team history, the Akwesasne Indians are the 2015 Canadian Lacrosse Association champions, claiming the Founders' Cup in a round robin tournament in Calgary, Alberta.     More than a dozen bands took the stage on Saturday, Aug. 22 to help raise money for the Ieweras Gray Foundation, which helps Akwesasne families dealing with cancer and other tragedies.
