The Akwesasne Icecats are making a strong push to the playoffs as they beat their latest opponent 13-2. Jenny Dejung played well in nets making 14 saves. The Akwesasne Girls Novice hockey team ended the regular season with a three game win streak. They defeated the Malone mites on March 3rd by a score of 4-0. The team showed excellent team work in the win, as they previously lost to Malone the week before on a score of 2-1. Akwesasne then defeated Cornwall Novice Red 4-0 and Cornwall Atom Red 3-0.
