The best First Nations players from across Canada were brought together to participate in the 11th annual National Aboriginal Hockey Championships held in Saskatoon Saskatchewan May 7-12, 2012. This prestigious hockey tournament brought Saskatchewan and Easter Door and the North together in the final game to play for gold for the second year in a row! The Bantam B North Franklin Hockey team won the Alex Bay tournament on Jan. 7 & 8, 2012. They beat Ogdensburg in the final game with a score of 5-4.
