Congratulations to the North Country Wild hockey team in winning the Casselman Pirates AAA spring hockey tournament this past weekend. The boys played hard all weekend with a record of 4 wins, 1 loss and 1 tie. Sunday night they made it to the Championship game against Ottawa Senators Red, the only team they had lost to. The Thunder Pee Wees went 6-0 in the state tournament this past weekend and took first place by defeating the Niagara Purple Eagles 4-2 on Sunday in the championship game.
