    The Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service have arrested and charged a 14-year-old youth with aggravated assault stemming from an incident that occurred in the early evening of October 31, 2024. At approximately 7:30 PM, police received a report of a victim with a knife wound in the upper body area. The victim was in the area of First Street in Kana:takon (St. Regis).     AKWESASNE. October 30, 2024. This afternoon, at approximately 5:20 PM, a fire broke out at the Akwesasne Boys and Girls Club’s main clubhouse located on Roosevelt Town Road. All children and staff were safely evacuated, with no injuries reported.
