In the semi-finals, the Cornwall Typhoons would have their rematch against the Lightning from Clarence –Rockland but this time the result would be different. A 1-0 win would send the Typhoons to the championship game where they would once again face the host team, the OHA Mavericks. After a hard fought, fast paced and physical game, the Typhoons would have to settle for silver, falling to the Mavericks by a score of 3-1. The ALS Shootout was held in memory of Mr. Brian Tardiff.

The Typhoons will continue their regular season play and are now going to prepare for their next tournament in Rochester, New York.
