The Akwesasne Warriors’ forward Ahmed Mahfouz from Ottawa, Ontario has played two seasons in the CHL with the Nepean Raiders and Pembroke LumberKings. In his last five games with the Warriors Mahfouz picked up 13 points.
Q. Who had the most impact on you as a young player growing up?
A. My midget AAA coach on the Ottawa Junior 67’s, Mario Lacroix
Q. Is there any player that you looked up to as a role model?
A. I always admired Steve Yzerman
Q. Who is your best friend in the game?
A. My teammate in the CJHL Luc McBride
Q. What do you like to do away from the rink?
A. I enjoy playing PS3 Nhl 11
Q. What’s on your ipod?
A. A lot of Lil Wayne
Q. Best memory in hockey?
A. Winning the CJHL Championship last season with the Pembroke Lumberkings
Q. Worst memory in Hockey?
A. Losing in the finals of the Fred Page Cup last season.
Q. If you could play on line with any player in history, who would you chose?
A. Steve Yzerman and Bob Probert
Q. Favorite rink?
A. Jim Paplinski Arena in the south end of Ottawa, really close to my house, I grew up there.
Q. Favorite sport other than hockey?
A.I play a lot of basketball in the summer
Q. First team you played for as a kid?
A. The Brewer Panthers in the south end of Ottawa
Q. What is your greatest strength?
A. No fear on the ice.

A. My shot
